Advisory Board

Purpose:  The purpose of the Distinctive Voyages Advisory Board is to serve in an advisory capacity on program initiatives and changes.   Board Members will be asked to provide input as it relates to the Distinctive Voyages Hosts program, training, and qualifications.  

 

Number of Board Members:  The board will consist of no more than 10 members.

 

Frequency of Meetings:  The Distinctive Voyages Advisory Board will meet once a quarter.  All meetings will be conducted virtually over Zoom*. 

 

Responsibilities and Expectations: 

• To attend all quarterly meetings.  If a Board member misses 2 meetings in a calendar year they may be asked to step down.  
• Keep content of discussions confidential until notified that it is ready to be shared.
• Attend monthly Host Open Mic calls when possible. 
• Is active as a Host, and host at least once a year.
• Have an approved Agent Profiler profile listed on TravelLeaders.com website.
• Agency is enrolled in the Engagement Program. If you’re an IC, you must be enrolled and actively participating in the Engagement program with a consumer list on file.
• Agency must be an active TLN member agency for the duration of the Advisory Board Term.

 

Term:  The Distinctive Voyages Advisory Board member term will run for two (2) years, and no more than four (4) years beginning February 1, 2022-December 31, 2023.
